[:en]On Saturday the 27<\/span>th<\/span> April, MCF held its annual Murder Mystery with an 80\u2019s twist inspired by the all-time classic movie \u2013 Footloose. \"\"<\/a>Everyone dressed up for the occasion and embraced their inner 80\u2019s child through neon <\/span>clothing, dressing up as their favourite 80s idol from Madonna to the Blues Brothers, Top Gun and Axl Rose<\/span>, <\/span>or simply showing off their 80\u2019s pop culture knowledge.<\/span><\/p>\n

4\u670827\u65e5\u661f\u671f\u516d\uff0cMCF\u4e3e\u884c\u4e86\u4e00\u5e74\u4e00\u5ea6\u7684\u201c\u795e\u79d8\u8c0b\u6740\u6848\u201d\u665a\u4f1a\u3002\u6b64\u6b21\u665a\u4f1a\u4ee580\u5e74\u4ee3\u4e3a\u80cc\u666f\uff0c\u5176\u7075\u611f\u6765\u81ea\u4e8e\u5386\u53f2\u60a0\u4e45\u7684\u7ecf\u5178\u6b4c\u821e\u7535\u5f71\u2014Footloose\u3002\u53c2\u52a0\u665a\u4f1a\u7684\u6765\u5bbe\u4eec\u90fd\u76db\u88c5\u51fa\u5e2d\uff0c\u88c5\u626e\u6210\u4ed6\u4eec\u559c\u7231\u768480\u5e74\u4ee3\u7684\u5076\u50cf\uff0c\u4ece\u9ea6\u5f53\u5a1c\uff0c\u7535\u5f71Top Gun, Blue Brothers \u4e2d\u7684\u4eba\u7269\uff0c\u5230\u6447\u6eda\u6b4c\u624bAxl Rose\uff08\u827e\u514b\u7d22\u00b7\u7f57\u65af\uff09\u3002\u4eba\u4eec\u901a\u8fc7\u4eae\u4e3d\u7684\u670d\u9970\u6765\u5c55\u73b0\u4ed6\u4eec\u5185\u5fc380\u5e74\u4ee3\u7684\u60c5\u6000\uff0c\u6216\u8005\u662f\u8868\u8fbe\u4ed6\u4eec\u5bf980\u5e74\u4ee3Pop Culture\uff08\u6d41\u884c\u6587\u5316\uff09\u7684\u8ba4\u77e5\u3002<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Murder Mystery performance followed the 80\u2019s theme with an explosive performance from MCF volunteer Clare and her fellow<\/span> professionals who acted out a high school prom going murderously wrong. The audience was gripped with anticipation throughout the evening with endless twists and turns. A brilliant element to the act this year was the interactive nature of the performance which led to questioning the audience and even getting everyone on their feet with a dance routine. Each table got a chance to guess who the murderer was and the lucky winners received a food and drink goodie basket with the beer being sponsored by Great Leap Brewery. The performance definitely got everybody in the 80\u2019s spirit and without the hard work of our drama pros the night would have not been the same.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u4eca\u5e74\u7684\u795e\u79d8\u8c0b\u6740\u6848\u8868\u6f14\u9075\u5faa\u4e8680\u5e74\u4ee3\u7684\u4e3b\u9898\u3002MCF\u5fd7\u613f\u8005Clare\u548c\u5979\u7684\u4e13\u4e1a\u56e2\u961f\u4eec\u4e3a\u5927\u5bb6\u5448\u73b0\u4e86\u4e00\u573a\u7cbe\u5f69\u7684,\u7206\u70b8\u6027\u7684\u8868\u6f14\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u8868\u6f14\u7684\u662f\u4e00\u573a\u9ad8\u4e2d\u6bd5\u4e1a\u821e\u4f1a\uff0c\u821e\u4f1a\u4e2d\u51fa\u73b0\u4e86\u8c0b\u6740\u6848\u3002\u6574\u4e2a\u665a\u4e0a\uff0c\u89c2\u4f17\u90fd\u88ab\u5404\u79cd\u9884\u60f3\u6240\u5438\u5f15\uff0c\u60c5\u8282\u8dcc\u5b95\u8d77\u4f0f,\u5145\u6ee1\u60ac\u7591\u3002\u4eca\u5e74\u6f14\u51fa\u7684\u4e00\u4e2a\u7cbe\u5f69\u5143\u7d20\u662f\u8868\u6f14\u7684\u4e92\u52a8\u6027\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u5bf9\u89c2\u4f17\u7684\u63d0\u95ee\uff0c\u751a\u81f3\u8ba9\u6bcf\u4e2a\u4eba\u90fd\u7ad9\u8d77\u6765\u8868\u6f14\u821e\u8e48\u3002\u6bcf\u4e00\u684c\u90fd\u6709\u4e00\u6b21\u673a\u4f1a\u731c\u6d4b\u51f6\u624b\u662f\u8c01\uff0c\u5e78\u8fd0\u7684\u83b7\u5956\u8005\u83b7\u5f97\u4e86\u7cbe\u81f4\u7684\u98df\u54c1\u996e\u6599\u7bee\uff0c\u5176\u4e2d\u7684\u5564\u9152\u7531Great Leap Brewery(\u5927\u8dc3\u5564\u9152)\u8d5e\u52a9\u3002\u8fd9\u573a\u6f14\u51fa\u8ba9\u73b0\u573a\u7684\u6bcf\u4e2a\u4eba\u90fd\u5145\u5206\u611f\u53d7\u5230\u4e8680\u5e74\u4ee3\u7684\u7cbe\u795e\u3002 \u800c\u8fd9\u4e00\u5207\u90fd\u79bb\u4e0d\u5f00\u6211\u4eec\u620f\u5267\u4e13\u4e1a\u4eba\u58eb\u4eec\u7684\u8f9b\u52e4\u52aa\u529b.<\/p>\n

MCF\u2019s iconic raffle was back this year with once again wonderful prizes from a number of our sponsors. The raffle prizes were baskets grouped into themes ranging from the Date Night basket including a 2 night weekend stay in Deluxe at the Hilton Hotel, couples visit to Salt Space in Soho and more! Whilst the Debauchery basket contained over 1000 RMB worth of vouchers for local Beijing breweries and bars, Boxing Cat, Paddy O\u2019Shea\u2019s, Local and Jing A. Also, one of our Gold sponsors BlueStar AMG hosted an awesome free draw for an iPad which was hugely popular.  On top of all of those prizes, we also held a silent auction for a 2 night stay in the executive suite at the Shangri-La Hotel in Tianjin for two people.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the evening, tables were embracing the 80\u2019s fun and showing off their best footloose moves \"\"<\/a>between murder mystery scenes. We also had fun choosing our two Best 80s Dress winners – Segolene, who wore a Madonna inspired outfit of white lace and Steven, whose get-up embraced ALL the colours of the decade! Both winners were awarded with 1000RMB voucher from TRB’s Hulu. But once the murderer had been revealed and the dessert had been served the dance floor really was on fire <\/span>with the audience making the most of the music expertly spun by DJ Gerrybeatz, who provided the evening with top 80\u2019s hits which <\/span>got everybody cracking out their 80\u2019s moves.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event would have not happened if it wasn\u2019t for MCF\u2019s Programme Manager Lorna and our team of volunteers. Our MCF’ers helped with a range of tasks from setting up the event to selling raffle tickets. Paula as the MCF Raffle Guru expertly managed the raffle and presented prizes while Maddy and Amy spent the evening photographing the night’s action. Special mention goes to our Marketing Manager and the night\u2019s host, Chad, who not only worked with local companies to bring the best prizes to our raffle, but also did an outstanding job of guiding us back to the eighties for a night of mystery, fun and dancing.<\/span><\/p>\n
